"If you are like many young adults, you have a very busy, on-the-go kind of life. This cluster is designed to allow busy young adults to discuss and share opinions on Jewish topics that are relevant to them on a daily basis. 30 minutes per month is all it takes to add some Jewish meaning and knowledge to your daily life. Come and join us as we discuss, laugh, and gain inspiration from the world’s best selling book (The Torah). This cluster will meet once a month and is led by Rabbi Avi Kula (of Torah and Turf fame). We will meet at Starbucks in Clayton on the corner of Forsyth and N. Central Avenue. This cluster is available for men and women, and Jews of any denomination, background, and knowledge level. We are looking forward to seeing you there!!

EDUCATION/STUDY

"Religion with more questions than answers. Shir Hadash: Progressive. Relevant. Judaism.Shir Hadash is an inclusive and egalitarian community. We welcome all Jews regardless of current levels or past practices of observance. Gay and Lesbian Jews, Jews by choice, minority Jews, and non-Jewish partners are all invited.Shir Hadash creates a sense of community and caring through the active engagement of its members in the way we conduct our services, approach social justice opportunities, and integrate music and the arts into our experience of Judaism. As a small, participatory community, we appreciate the involvement of all our members. New perspectives, intellectual curiosity, spiritual exploration, and creativity are encouraged and welcome. This is a hallmark of the Reconstructionist movement which seeks to integrate our Jewish identities with the world around us. The Reconstructionist movement was the first to ordain women, and gay and lesbian rabbis. And while we are proud of this past, we look forward to our future and growth."
