Tidewater or South Hampton Roads is filled with exceptional Jewish agencies to meet the needs of community members and friends to the community. These agencies offer many varied services from home care, counselling and immigrant services at Jewish Family Service to care for the elderly at the Beth Sholom Village. The Simon Family Jewish Community Center gives our local but vibrant community a home for many activities and programs, catering to people of all ages and Hebrew Academy of Tidewater ensures Jewish continuity by providing an exceptional education to our youngest community members. Since the Jewish community of Tidewater takes great pride in caring for our fellow Jews not only locally and nationally but across the globe, we consider the Joint Distribution Committee and the Jewish Agency for Israel as part of our community make-up.
