Shalom Tidewater welcomes newcomers by matching them with those of like-mind as much as possible. Since Tidewater is a transient population, it is important for us to open our doors (and hearts) to newcomers and help them adjust to a new life. Relocation is not easy but this vibrant and warm community can help speed up the adjustment process. Through a one-on-one connection, we hope to make it a little easier for everyone to get involved in GesherCity and in the Jewish community as a whole.

Carin Simon and Shana Prohofsky, co-chairs of Shalom Tidewater, will be happy to help you learn more about everything Jewish Tidewater has to offer. There are several Young Adult Division/GesherCity sponsored events and other programs that you could attend and meet many more young Jewish adults.
